The build quality of this ashtray is very good, but the color, texture and sheen of the black finish do not match my console very well, granted the black paint on the console is more than 50 years old. I bought a used OE ashtray off Ebay for the same amount of money and it matches perfectly

The price on this replacement ashtray seems a bit steep, but not only did it fit perfectly but the color was a perfect match to the console.

Fits loosely. Pulls right out when you lift the lid. Scratched mine the first time I opened it because the tray doesn’t stay in place.
