The radio antenna EOBZ-18A984-A as received was non usable due to the assembly of the product. The issue occurs at the antenna base end. The center conductor of the coax cable was shorted to the shield of the cable. Also the coax center conductor contact was not inserted onto the antenna base center contact. I disassembled the antenna base, cut the coax wire and re-terminated the center contact and the shield I then inserted the center contact onto the base. I also used shrink sleeving on the cable to make a more robust cable support It is obvious the person who assembled this antenna does not have experience in coax cable connector termination. Please check your other stock (of this antenna) for the same problem.
