Repro. To pedal support. This bracket mounts the springs a little further from the pedal making spring installation more difficult than it should be since heavy spring, 7534-1, must be stretched more to mount it.

Geometry was different that original (1967 big block) , more angle and perched to stretch spring more. Re-chased threads in original and re-used it along with original spring. Do not know if it was correct for a small block or 6 cylinder.
