A little over-the-top with this replacement. Only needed one. This one popped right into the hole

They are simple little gadgets but if you are restoring your trunk lid you probably should order 2 or 3 sets. The plug ends tend to break if you have to yank them back out and if you are adjusting your deck lid fit before paint you need these and the gasket installed to set the proper deck lid height. I ordered 2 sets of these just in case I break one. I think I now have the most expensive deck lid in old mustang history. I've spent probably close to 60 hours working on mine getting it to sit right and fit right.

The rubber bumpers are what they are. I would recommend getting multiple sets as you will have to remove before you paint the trunk lid and you will destroy them when you remove.
