Nice cable assembled into my 1957 T-Bird perfectly. Has a more modern housing, with less friction so will not look original. Did not come with the firewall grommet, but I cut the grommet off the old one and used it. Some online information says you have to remove the T-Handle to assemble the cable into the handle end. This is not necessary. Just push the handle all the way down and there is a slot to put the cable grommet in.
