Cable worked perfectly in my 1957 T-Bird tachometer cable, but did not come with instructions on how to cut the cable (I used a Oscillating saw to get a clean cut), or how to crimp the end piece onto the cable. The following worked for me. The kit has 3 pieces, the inner cable, end piece, and crimping tool. Cut the cable to length then put the cut end into the formed end piece. Put the round part of the end piece into the square opening in the crimping tool supplied in the kit. Making sure the cable stays fully engaged in the end piece use a vice to squeeze the crimping tool onto the end piece. squeeze hard to insure a good crimp.
