Sometimes over many years classic cars end up with some aftermarket parts that don't exactly match the original GM parts the car came off the asssembly line with. I needed a non-vented gas cap for my 71 Chevelle but since the gas tank had been replaced, the cap that would fit was really a non-vented gas cap for the 1970 model. National Parts Review helped get me the right gas cap for my car.
