Had to return this product. Did not fit with factory seats, and factory console.

YES I would recommend this product.
We have
a 1967 Camaro in our private collection, with deluxe interior and console, that
is 100% original (27K original miles, original upholstery and interior).
This
makes me wonder whether this reviewer's car was re-upholstered in the past with
replacement seat foam that was not accurate/correct, or whether the seats have
simply “pancaked” from age and use, although I cannot imagine that dynamic
being so severe that there would be a fitment issue for this console.
