Great choice for upgrading your '60s Ford or Merc to the Duraspark II Electronic ignition. BUT...if you try to keep the small cap from your points-and-condenser distributor and use on this, it doesn't work. It's just a little too small and my old small cap cracked 2 inches after trying to twist it on. So, you must use the big cap it's supplied with (and buy new plug wires). No problem with me, the stock air cleaner on my '64 Comet cleared the big cap okay. And this distributor looks like it's good quality. But you never know for sure until some time passes.
