NPD Part Number : 3000-16BK Manufacturer Reference #'s: Aldan American M1BBF2D,
I received the front coil-overs and rear shocks for my '69 Mach 1 yesterday (04/22/2022). The box holding the rear shocks as well as the packing material was soaked with hydraulic fluid that leaked from one or both of the shocks. Both shocks displayed no damping what so ever when pulling or pushing on the piston shaft. I can't believe that Aldan American could allow such a poor product out the door. This reflects on Aldan American's quality control, therefore I am returning the front coil-overs and the leaky rear shocks to National Parts Depot. These were not cheap. The front coil-overs, $1195.95. The rear shocks, $443.06. One star is too generous for this product. Oh, one more thing. The directions for installation of the front coil-overs must have been written by an illiterate. Really suck!
