HANDLE AND CABLE ASSY, HOOD LATCH CONTROL, EXACT REPRO, NON-LOCKING, E3ZZ-16916-A
This Hood latch control handle and cable is designed to be exact reproductions of the original unit. It features the correct mounting bracket as well as the proper cable length and writing on the interior handle. So if you are not getting proper release of your hood you might need to replace your cable with one of these units.
Restoration Note:
This unit is designed after the original E3ZZ-161916-A Ford part number. This part number from Ford ran from 1983 thru 1993 without any other suppressions.
Note:
See M-16916-1K for correct style mounting kit that includes the proper hex head mounting screws. This kit is designed to mount the cable to the mounting bracket the is located off the under dash carrier.
