Shorty headers eliminate steering system and bell housing clearance issues associated with most long tube and Tri-Y headers, They feature extra thick 3/8 flanges, 12 gauge 1 5/8 primary tubes and 2.25 ball and socket collector for ease of install and a leak free installation. Includes necessary mounting hardware and premium gaskets. For 1964 through 1970 Mustangs with 260, 289 or 302 engines. NOTE: 64/65 cars may require either 66/70 motor mounts and brackets or 1/4 inch spacers on stock mounts for proper clearance. 67-68 manual transmission cars will have to modify the clutch equalizer bar. These will not fit late model 302 P heads. EFI cars require 9430-18B Reducer Cones.
