This hood auxiliary catch hook is designed to fit your 1987-1993 Fox Mustang. It is based of the F2ZZ-16892-A original style hook. This hook is designed to fit the redesigned 1987-1993 hood with additional arm length and contours to make releasing the the hood as easy as possible. So if your original hook is bent or not working properly due to its age make sure to pick up one of the these units from NPD.

Installation Note:

NPD offers a correct style mounting kit M-16892-1K that is designed to not only mount this 1987-1993 style hook but also 1979-86 hook if needed.

Note:

This hook will not fit 1979-86 model years as they featured a more flat style release arms that would fit the hood style on the 1979-86 Fox Mustang.
