INSULATOR, SHAKER BASE TO LOWER BRACKET, BLACK, ORIGINAL 2L7Z-9P686-AA, THESE INSULATORS ARE LOCATED ON TOP OF THE MOUNTING STUDS ON THE LOWER BRACKET
These insulators are located on top of the lower base bracket studs on the 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1 shaker hood system. These insulators are located at each corner of the lower bracket and have a closed end cap designed that allows them to be mounted properly to the lower studs. These insulators allow the factory shaker base to be mounted to the lower bracket and give you the shaker look and feel. So if your insulators are cracked, broken or missing due to time and engine heat look at picking up a set to keep you Mach 1 shaker system working properly.
Restoration Note:
Each shaker system has a total of 4 insulators located on top of the lower bracket mounting studs. These insulators mount directly over the ball end of the stud and go directly into the lower section of the shaker. This combination of stud and insulators is what give the shaker scoop the vintage shaker movement.

It took me a couple of days just to find these replacement grommets, so I bought three of the four needed. Now Im waiting for one more to be added here for sale. I will buy a couple of extras as well

These isolators worked great on my 2003 MACh1 Mustang Shaker. They were a snug fit and quieted up the rattling from the worn out factory isolators.
