The 68 camaro's shifter knob was solid plastic and had crystalized over the years and was cracked and broken in several places, thus the hunt for a replacement. Out of all the auto part companies that exist, yours was the only one that had a shifter knob for an old gm or chevy and or camaro. I have yet to take it out of the package and install it but I hope it will fit as described and as intended.
