Fits well good color but again dissapointed in an all plastic product. I expected a plastic lens and a chrome metal trim. Also you can see glue where both pieces meet. Maybe the metal yrim can be bought seperate?

We have a 1970 F100 in our collection with only 47 original miles from new. The original dome lens assembly in it is all-plastic, including the bezel, exactly like the U.S.-made Carpenter reproduction here. The bezel was not metal from Ford.

Bought 2 of these for different trucks. One came perfect, the other had blemishes in the “ chrome” finish of the outer plastic where it meets the translucent part of the cover. Looked like the die did not cut it properly.

The manufacturer had this to say, "the only time the lens can melt is if they use a brighter bulb and not stock. 
I have decided to go ahead and start making these from Polycarbonate to solve the problem but we still have about 8 months of old stock on hand.

Also think I will make another version clear with prisms to make them give off even more light".
