These reproduction seat cushions will make a finished seat look factory original. American Cushion Industries cushions are molded with an exclusive cold cure process and reinforced with original wire contour mat reinforcements molded internally. The wire assemblies are made from the very last GM production machine left in existence, which is now owned by American Cushion.
Note:
The original GM cushion has a foam sub assembly that glues to the back of the headrest. This is not part of the reproduction cushion. Save your assembly and reglue it to the new cushion. If sub assembly is unusable due to deterioration, a new assembly can be fabricated from sheet foam.

I used these on my 79’ trans am with deluxe interior. Pretty pricey but they fit great and fill out my new upholstery correctly. They seem pretty firm and the foam on the bottom of the top cushion is a bit too thick compared to the factory in my opinion. Overall a really nice cushion and a must if you are doing a set of 78-81 Firebird seats.
