trim is ok but the hardware is part is lacking the slide in snap clips are way to wide to fit in to the molding and then they are one short as it take three of them to properly fit and install trim into placement

This review is for both the 8242-1A and 8243-1A RH and LH grille moldings. Another tough review. Both of theses are very nice pieces. The polished areas are excellent, gray/silver painted area is correct/great and the arched shape fit perfectly. The bad - both short sections (vertical section) were too long. RH being about a 1/4 inch longer and LH being about 3/4 inch longer than my early 65 OEM pieces. I brought this to NPDs attention.

The shipping carrier crushed the box on the first one, bending the thing. I called you guys to see how to file a damage claim and the guy said no worries, we’ll just send you another one. That night I managed to tweak it back to usable so I called the next morning to tell him to cancel but it had already shipped. I received it, it’s perfect. I really feel like I should send this back but the guy said not to worry about it. You guys are far and away the best
