This hardware kit is designed to give you all the correct finishing hardware for your 1987-1989 instrument panel steering column cover to your lower dash. This hardware kit includes (2) OE style clip on spring retainers as well as (2) OE style push on rubber bumpers. This hardware or finishing kit is designed to work with both original or NPD exclusive column covers. So if your original factory cover still has all its original plastic tabs in place, and you are looking to update that worn out factory hardware then look at picking up one of these kits from NPD today!
Installation Note:
This kit is referred to as a hardware or finishing kit as it only includes the same hardware that Ford would have included with the original or service part. To complete the mounting of the instrument panel steering column cover you will need the (2) torxs head self tappaing screws that were used on the under side. NPD is proud to offer these under kit number M-04459-3K. These two kits combine to give you everything to mount to the steel under dash plate.
