OIL PAN, ZINC PLATED, DRAG RACING STYLE, 7 QUART DUAL SUMP DESIGN, INCL DUAL DRAIN PLUGS, MUST USE M-6622-13ZR OIL PUMP PICKUP
These Drag racing style oil pan feature a 7 quart oil capacity and a 9 inch deep sump. They are designed to fit 1979-1993 Fox-Body style Ford Mustangs with 302 / 5.0L engines. They are available in a Black painted or Zinc plated finishes and require the use of a racing style Oil pump pickup part number
Note:
Note: A stock 5.0 dipstick tube can be used (through the block) however it must be installed (pressed in) before the oil pan is bolted up or a chance of binding may accrue. If you want to use the side oil pan bung, you will need to purchase our dipstick kit M-6754-15ZR and the original oil dipstick location (through the block) must then be plugged. NPD also recommends the use of a high volume oil pump when converting to a dual sump oil pan.

Installation went great, but once the pan heated up and the oil thinned out, this pan developed not one, but TWO pinhole leaks. Horrible quality control. Now I have to pull the engine again. You get what you pay for. I'll stick to Canton from now on.
