These handles are serviced by GM for 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird / Trans Am models, although there were two designs used originally, one for 1970-1975 models (6 3/16 Inches over all length) and one for 1976-1981 models (known as the second design). This GM part is the second design shorter handle, and will fit / function on all 1970-1981 models (but only correct appearing for 1976-1981 models).
