Installation Note:

Please check your original ID code to ensure proper replacement. Also not that 1979-1980 featured a two part printed circuit board style. This unit is the larger primary unit featured on the back of the instrument cluster. If you are looking for the smaller secondary units see NPD part number M-10K843-2A for 1979 version & M-10K843-2B for 1980 version. It is recommended that you should replace the primary and secondary unit at the same time!

Restoration Note:

Ford listing show two Ford part numbers D9ZZ-10K843-A & E0ZZ-10K843-A. The D9ZZ was replaced by the E0ZZ unit. They both featured different ID codes located on the part. Please note that the part number and the ID code are different. The ID code will be the number listed on the part itself. The part number was Fords internal sales number.
