Note: Thicker than original radiators may require a shorter fan spacer. Check for a minimum of 1/2” clearance (1” preferred) between the fan and radiator core BEFORE you start your engine! The use of a different length of fan spacer can easily remedy this. Thicker than original radiators may also need modifications to the saddle mounts to fit the thicker tanks and for the location of the drain cocks. 67’s using 24” extra cooling radiators, brass or aluminum, will require the use of 68-70 lower mounts (8052-1A, 1B, 1C) for a proper mounting.
Aluminum radiators and heater cores require 50/50 mix coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion in aluminum.

A fair amount of the fins were bent/damaged-- I had expected only a few, as this is normal during shipping/production, but there were more than I was comfortable ignoring. Took some time with needle nosed pliers to straighten them out. Not a big deal, but I had hoped that for the price it would be in better shape. Otherwise, the welds are clean, the radiator is straight, and it fits. It will work. And I always know that if I have a problem, NPD's support will quickly take care of it.

High quality part. Fit was perfect. Added new 5 blade fan without any clearance problems between fan and radiator. Temperature control is excellent. Doesn't get above midway on the temp gauge.
