These rods are a smaller diameter then the original rods. It is a mix and match to get the aftermarket rods to fit with the old bushing and old rod clips in the old latching device. I used 21952-2 black plastic clip/bushing combo clip this worked with the aftermarket lock rod and old latching device.(21952-2BA only fit the old lock device and old rods Not the aftermarket rod) (21952-2A only fit the aftermarket rod not the old lock device or old rod) The 21952-2 black plastic busing/clip combo did work with both old and new. I do not know how long the plastic combo part will last.
