Repro. Correct foam rubber. Located at the bottom of the column tube between the outer and inner tube. Used to keep the elements from finding their way up the column, 2 1/4” O.D. x 1 9/16” I.D. x 1” thick. It is suggested that you lube these seals with a good dose of graphite powder prior to installation. See also 3E629-1A.

Was doing a recent steering column rebuild and this foam seal is nearly impossible to find, but npd came through and I will come back here again and again because they have absolutely everything, the product itself fits great and keeps the ember steering column tune from rattling

Why does this part not come with the other two (2) pieces of foam that are needed at the bottom of the steering column instead of a separate kit ??!! My '70 had its original foams still in place and I was able to cut out the two additional pieces needed but its crappy that you have to buy TWO kits when ONE kit should be all you need.
