Product good does the job but you need to note 2 rolls are required to complete a side window rebuild. One roll will do to glass edge trim the other for the lower bracket. I would have gladly bought enough if I new, now I have to order again pat freight again freight will cost more than product due to re-ordering!

The only way to install new door glass and lower retainer after an accident took out the drivers door. Another web site didn't even mention needing this tape to install their parts, not cool! Great stuff, love the videos, keep up the good work.

If you are rebuilding your 60's vent windows (or replacing the vent glass into the vent frame) this item is NOT what you want! It is not thick enough. When doubled up, it is way too thick. I also bought the 3/64 stuff (same material). It is even thinner and therefore too thin. But when doubled up, worked out just about right. I was able to tap the glass back into the frame and the doubled rubber secured it properly.

There was plenty of material to do both vent windows. If you have trouble getting the glass into the material, spray a little Simple Green on the glass and it will help it slide into place.

An excellent replacement material for bedding glass into a frame. Fits perfectly, is pliable and tough. If you have trouble getting the glass to fit in the frame, spray a little SImple Green on the glass and wipe it the length of the channel. The window will install much easier into the frame.

This glass channel seal strip works great. It does take a little bit of work to get it on the glass but the results are fantastic. I highly recommend following the directions on the YouTube video provided by Autorestomod Manic Mechanic Gasoline Media. The instructions they provide are spot on and easily to follow. I highly recommend this product.

Worked beautifully, had no issues at using this product to replace my door windows. Would recommend use of dish detergent as lubrication to make installation easier. Plus it gets on the window and makes cleanup really easy with a damp rag. Wish it came in longer or more custom lengths, took two rolls to do a single door.

This was just what I needed to repair the door glass frame that was coming apart. Simply cut a piece to the needed length, fold it over the glass and tap the frame back into place (glass had been removed from the car door). Then just trim away the excess and good as new. A 5 minute repair job. I only wish it was that easy to remove the door glass from the door.
