TRIM PANEL, Package Tray, black ABS molded plastic with two 6x9 speaker pods, Panels with speaker cutouts usually require a short grille to avoid interference with the rear glass
Manufacturer Reference #'s: MPT68,
While this seems like a good idea, the geometry of the Mustang back window and heights of the speaker bumps combines so that they don’t really align over the existing speaker holes in the sheet metal. While I was able to get 6x9 speakers into the space, so it’ll depend on the depth of your speakers if they fit. In addition, there is no backing on the plastic, so either plan to hear a lot of plastic to metal vibration noise, or you’ll need to add some kind of backing to the plastic. The plastic isvery flxible, so any place it contacts metal will create vibration noice when the car is running or he speakers hit bass notes.

Had problems with 6X9 speakers hitting back glass. The metal package tray had to be cut to fit in the speakers since the speakers do not line up with factory holes. Only way it will fit is with very low profile speakers.
