The wheelhouse fender as recieved with a considerable amount of paint scratches. I was looking forward to just install them without painting them first. The paint from the part manufacturer had a real nice finish. When I received the part from your warehouse, it did not have any scratch protection from the other wheelhouse, they were touching metal to metal. They should have had paper or bubble rap. Not happy with the condition as received.

We are sorry about the scratches and that you are disappointed. But please understand that under no circumstances should that factory coating be considered as “ready to install”. It is just a cheap e-coat to protect items from rusting during their overseas journey. Furthermore, the wheelhouses are shipped from the factory “stacked” in bundles of twenty, totally un-protected. Most of your scratches probably existed before the panels ever arrived here in the U.S..
Any
reproduction panel, at bare-minimum, must be sanded or blasted, then primed and
painted with something that will last.
