Note:
This wheelhouse has ripples in the metal behind the control arm opening and at the front edge. Some original GM wheelhouses also featured these ripples, and there is currently only one wheelhouse tooling in reproduction.
Restoration Note:
The original GM part number for 1964-1966 models was 9781457, but it was later superseded by part number 9785739. The 1967 fender wheelhouse was redesigned with a dimple / indent in the rear of the skirt to accommodate the larger power 11 inch brake booster used in 1967. Some retailers list this wheelhouse as fitting 1966-1967 models only, but it will work for 1964-1967 models (with the only difference being the dimple / indent that occurred during the redesign for 1967).
