WINDSHIELD PILLAR PADS, black, pair, These repro pads need to have the rear retainer clip pockets opened by using a sharp utility knife and cut a slit at the 4 rectangular depressions on the rear of the pads, The pillar pads were phased out around January 1968 as part of the cost cutting measures resulting from the 1967 UAW Strike

I don't have anyplace for clips on my a pillar at all. I have a 68 coupe and now I have no idea on what to do.

These pillar pads are very nice quality and firm like they should be. I wish they had the holes for the clips cut already so I wouldn't have to guess which direction they are supposed to face. A little expensive for just a small piece of foam and vinyl.
