Description

BULB, 1157, Red Plasma LED, 7.5 watt circuit on board SMD style lights are more efficient than normal LEDs, Red bulb makes tail and brake lights glow a bright blood red color, low heat, requires the use of an electronic flasher unit 13350-6B for both the turn signal and emergency flasher circuits,If you are comparing these 7.5w bulbs to others 8w bulb they are actually the same. The wattage rating is a theoretical maximum rating, They both have five 1.5 watt diodes and that wattage is a maximum capacity, They actually draw only 3.78 watts total! One is just rounding the number up to the next highest whole number, Its just marketing, The white 7.5w bulbs put out 450 lumens and the red and yellow about 400 lumens, All our Plasma 1157 LED bulbs have a built in 1 way blocking diode (aka resistor) to prevent the voltage from *jumping* from the high side contact to the low side and activating other lights on the circuit,
