This door panel insulation / jute pad is designed to replace your worn, torn or deteriorating original insulation with a fresh new product. This insulation is designed to mount to the back of your original or reproduction door panels and was originally installed to help reduce noises and rattles. This reproduction jute pad has all the factory cutout and installs as easily as just gluing it down. So if you are looking to keep your Foxbody Mustang in factory working order look at picking up a pair of these from NPD today!
Restoration Note:
The original jute pad / insulation featured a plastic or some would call a trash bag like material on the one side. These reproduction units do not feature that material which allows them to be installed on either the RH or LH side without any issues.
Installation Note:
These reproduction units are designed to be glue into place on the back of the door panel. NPD suggest using part number 3M8080 to properly install them. Spraying both the jute and the door panel and following the proper flashing time will allow for proper installation.
