If you are looking to not only increase performance but also increase the overall look of your engine compartment, look at picking up one of these Edelbrock Performance RPM II Intake Manifolds from NPD. Edelbrock part #71233 (M-9434-25EPB) Performer 5.0 RPM II intake manifold for 1986-95 5.0L Mustang engines has shown significant gains in horsepower over existing designs in the 1500 to 6500 rpm range, and is ideally suited for street and strip applications. This unit is Black Powder Coated to ensure a long lasting finish. This manifold consists of a V-shaped crossover with an increasing cross-sectional area, which passes over to eight large tapered runners. This unit features a 70mm throttle body opening (75mm will require port matching). 1994-95 Mustang engines require Throttle Body Adapter #38353 (M-9A424-25EPB) and Adapter Kit #8025 (M-9D477-25EP). May not fit with stock hood of 1994-95 Mustangs, aftermarket hood recommended. These Performer RPM II EFI manifolds are designed for 1986-1995 5.0L-based Mustangs and passenger vehicles (will not fit trucks). They are ideally suited to street/strip applications with an RPM range of 1500-6500 RPM. The manifold features a V-shaped crossover with an increasing cross-sectional area leading to large, tapered runners. Manifold may not clear factory hood of 1994-1995 Mustang. Use of an aftermarket hood is recommended. Manifold WILL NOT clear factory 1994-1995 Mustang strut tower brace; Use QA1 or BBK Strut Tower Brace is recommend.

Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7220 (M-9439-25EP); Air valve location is 0.30" higher and 0.50" forward from stock; Port exit dimensions: 1.16" x 2.0"; Recommended cams: Ford SVO X-303 or Z-303.; Overall height: 11.13"; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
