If you are looking to replace your worn out original rear gear hardware or if you are looking to upgrade your rear gears for better performance this kit from for Ford Performance is just the ticket. This kit features the Ford Performance part number M-4216-2FR and is designed to fit your 1986-2014 8.8 rear gears.

-7/16"-20 x .875" bolts
-Set of 10 bolts
-Can also be used for automatic transmission flywheels
Installation Note:
These units are made from high strength steel and feature the thread sealant applied for easy installation. 1 kit is required per rear gear set.
Note:
Ford Performance does not call out this bolt kit for fitting 1979-2004 Mustangs with the 7.5 inch rear axle. The original Ford hardware part number D5AZ-4216-A does work for all 7.5 or 8.8 rear axles. Check application before ordering for 7.5 rear axle
