This steel bearing retainer features the Ford Performance part number M-7210-M and is designed to be a direct fit for your 1983 thru 1993 Mustang with a stock T-5 manual transmission. These units features a aluminum ring with a steel sleeve to ensure a long lasting life. The original T-5 bearing retainers featured an aluminum sleeve that would allow for grooves to occur from the clutch release bearing or commonly called the throw-out bearing. These grooves can cause the throw-put bearing to bind, wear out or even create clutch issues.
