This new reproduction has been tooled specifically with original details not found on any current reproduction and up to now found only on original samples. The flange has been copied to include proper clocking of the cap plus stamped with the proper reinforcing ribs. The pipe is bent to duplicate the original bends and creases. No other repro comes as close as this part does to matching the original factory filler pipe. The custom textured nickel / zinc finish provides a satin sheen with a sand texture providing an appealing consistent look for those looking for a non-concours custom and durable finish. An NPD® exclusive reproduction! Instructions posted online describe how to dull the zinc finish for a more original appearance.
