All four corners were bent upon arrival and the retaining ring was too flimsy to seal the tank. Had to use the original steel ring to get a good seal.

The
corners are bent at the factory on-purpose. When left straight, the corners
slice and puncture through any/all packaging during transit and then begin destroying
anything neighboring the tank. It’s like giant throwing-star when it’s bouncing
down the road in a semi truck. Bending up the corners mitigates this
considerably, and it’s pretty easy to straighten them back out for
installation. But long story short, that is how we receive them from the
factory.
