This heater core front cover seal is designed to be used on 1979 thru 1993 Foxbody Mustangs that did not feature Factory or Integral A/C. This is commonly referred to as heater only cars. This front cover seal is designed to be exactly like the original unit and is based off the original D8BZ-18N267-A Ford part number. It features the same foam style material as well as the same density as original. It also features an adhesive backing and correct punch outs for both the heater core and bolt locations. Restoration Note:
This seal is designed to seal the front cover or commonly called the heater core door to the heater case. On Non A/C Foxbody Mustangs the heater core comes directly out of this door location for easy removal and installation. A new seal is needed when reinstalling the cover / door back onto the heater case. This exclusive unit from NPD is the correct seal needed.
