If you are looking to get your hood for your 1977-1980 Chevy or GMC truck in proper working order, look at picking up one of these hood latch assemblies from NPD. Over time this part can rust or wear out leaving your hood from not opening or locking properly. This can also create a hood release cable that does not function as it should. This part is design to fit like OE and feature correct mounting points, heavy steel construction, hook and spring to give you a quality reproduction part.
Note:
This style hood latch assembly is designed to only be used with inside hood release cable design. 1977-1980 Chevy and GMC trucks were offered with or without this option.
