If you are looking for the correct hood latch pop-up spring for your 1974-1980 Chevy or GMC truck NPD has you covered. This spring is designed to mount directly on top of the radiator core support and fits directly into the proper provisions that are made directly into the support. Made from spring steel, this unit is manufactured using OE specs and features the correct tension to ensure a proper working hood when the hood release lever is activated.
Note:
The hood pop-up spring is located on the radiator core support next to the hood catch assembly. It is designed to mount directly into the clips / tabs that are located on top of the support.
