If you are looking to take your restoration to the next level then this concourse correct tail light housing mounting kit from NPD is just what you are looking for. This kit from NPD reproduction is designed to mount your original 1987 thru 1993 Foxbody Tail light housing to your inner panel. This kit is based off the original Ford part N621907-S that were used. The kit includes (12) OE correct hex head flange nuts in a Yellow Zinc Dichromate as well as (12) correct mastic sealers to ensure a correct seal and installation. So, if you are tired of picking up generic hardware and what to use the same as the factory used look at picking up one of these kits from NPD today!
Restoration Note:
Ford Listings show the same N621907-S Ford part number being used from 1987 thru 1993 Mustangs. The hardware in this kit has all the same features as the original Ford part. The original hardware featured a M6-1.0 thread to match the original factory studs.
Installation Note:
This kit is designed to fit 1987 thru 1993 original Ford tail light housings that feature the correct M6-1.0 threaded studs. Most original housings featured this correct thread pattern.
If you are using a aftermarket style tail light housings like NPD part number M-13440-2AP for your 79-86 Foxbody Mustang these units featured the later style M6-1.0 threads. This would be the correct kit needed to properly match those metric threads.
Note:
The year range listed were verified by using cars from the NPD collection. Most Foxbody Mustangs will feature with the 1/4-20 threads or the M6-1.0 threads. If you are unsure if you have original or aftermarket housings please check the thread style before ordering.
