This unit is black powder coated and will not rust like most aftermarket units with oxide finish. The are designed with the proper plastic injected striker bushing that will last longer then extruded aftermarket bushings. They are designed to be exact reproduction or originals.

These completely changed the way my doors open and close on my 1983 GLX convertible after 36 years of use! I had gotten used to slamming my doors and them rattling over even the slightest bump in the road. No more! I only wish I had done this sooner!

These strikers do not work properly with 80's Mustang. I spent over an hour adjusting. The plastic piece is too large and doesn't freely turn like the original Ford one does. I bought a Ford striker set and it worked perfect
