I attempted to use this tool to remove the pins from the contact block for my 1969 Mustang head lamp harness. The tool isn’t long enough to remove the pins and I ended up purchasing individual pin tool which was about 4 times longer and they worked great.

The release used for bullet connections in most wiring applications on a Ford Mustang, specifically the turn signal harness, is slightly too large when you slide it over the bullet connector inside the plastic case to get the wiring to release. Subsequently, you have to figure out which side of the bullet on the end of the wire has the barb fin thing that needs release and then angle the tool to the side so it makes connection with the bard to release. Took me a couple of minutes on each wire to get them to release and wasn't as simple as sliding it straight down to release the barb catch as it should be.

Well made all metal construction. Spent the money for this to eliminate the frustration of using various plastic tubes, etc. When I went to use it to unpin the steering column WH connector, on my 1968 Mustang, I could only get the larger yellow wire to release. All attempts at any other wires or any other tube on the tool failed. So had to clean up and paint the column with the WH still hanging out. Very disappointed.
