It was the part I needed but was a major pain to get it on with the tools I had on hand. However, the worst part was re-aligning the trunk lid. That took some time. But, I would do it again just to be able to keep my trunk lid up without having to wedge a block of wood in the hinge to keep it up. Very satisfied with the product.

Need two people to install. Had to fabricate a tool to maintain control as there is a lot of energy contained when the spring is wound up. As this is the heavy spring and the second to be installed of the two. We used hose clamps to help it stay in place when we wound it up. Was done with glass installed and trunk lid removed. The trunk w/ spoiler now pops up so fast it needs to be controlled.
