After 50+ years my original fuel level sending unit started malfunctioning. This unit fit right, doesn't leak, and now my gauge is accurate.

Replaces original on a 1968 Cougar DGS. No issues installing, correct hose diameter, works as it should.

The locating tab had to be tweaked to get it to fit, otherwise it was fine.

First one I got was defective due to improper weld and leaked like a sieve. Requiring gas tank to be drained again. Customer service was great and offered me a refund or a new one. I chose to try this product again and they sent it quickly with no problems which is the only reason why am giving it three stars.I would give Customer service five if it was separate. The second one had to be adjusted to read accurately for my 1966 Mustang meaning the sensing arm had to be bent to a more correct position to respond for my gauge. Be prepared for this if you buy this product Since it requires draining the tank multiple times to get the adjustment just right. At this point the sending unit appears to be working well after adjusting it and is not leaking. The materials from which it’s made appear to be good quality

My son's 66 sending unit started to read erratically, and after reading reviews and researching what other vintage Mustang owners were using without having to also use a Meter Match, I tried this one. This unit reads even worse than the other one. It goes to FULL and stays there until only about 6 gallons are left, it suddenly goes to 1/4 and stays there. Here we go again...
