If your door is on the truck, remove the dome light switch and go through that hole to hook the spring to the back of the hinge. Then take some tie wire and make a loop on each end of your wire. Hook one loop of the tie wire on the other end of the spring and the other loop to a ratchet strap. Hook other end of ratchet strap to the back of the door jam. Ratchet till you can get the spring installed.
