I have put two of these switches in my car now, and they have not lasted very long. I have traced the electrical issue back to the switch both times.

Form and fit match the original equipment unit. The install went as well as might be expected with the only minor issue being that the wire in the switch harness that's supposed to be green/orange stripe (on the Ford schematic) is actually a solid green wire. This was a little confusing since there are 2 other green wires in the same harness (green/white stripe and green/red stripe). So while working in the confined, poorly lighted area when under the dash plugging the pins into the connector it was somewhat difficult to ensure that the proper wire was plugged into the right hole in the connector body. This is the third switch that I've put in in the last few months, although the first from this manufacturer. I'm hopeful that it will last longer than the previous ones; the last one of which failed after 300 miles. Only time will tell. Rating with 4 stars because of the wire marking and the uncertainty of long-term reliability.

About half of the wiring colors are different from the OEM harness so I had to do a process of elimination to figure out which was which. They are all there but half different colors.

Excellent replacement switch. It worked great in my '64 F-100. I did remove the "horn button" portion and used my original. Great price, fast shipping, and a quality part. The wires were easy to pull down the steering shaft if you understand how to do it. Thanks!

I had an issue with my front driver side blinker working. I was trouble shooting every possible wire the bulb etc. and of course the ground. Cross and jumped the wire and contact. In the end it was the wire harness. All is good now.
